Position Description: As a NEST Mentor, you’ll play a meaningful role in supporting high school students across Canada by offering honest, relatable insights into your university program and post-secondary experiences. If selected, you’ll complete a brief onboarding process before being featured on our website, where students can book 1-on-1 meetings with you through your Calendly link. These meetings provide students with an opportunity to ask questions about academics, campus life, extracurricular activities, and anything else they’re curious about. Some mentees may request follow-up meetings, which they can easily re-book through our platform. However, even if you’re not meeting with students regularly, you’ll still have the opportunity to stay involved, whether it’s staying responsive on our communication platforms, collaborating with fellow mentors, recording short videos to answer common questions, supporting our webinars as a guest speaker or organizer, or other projects that are going on within The NEST Project.
